Construction of a new cattle shed, Dorking, Surrey

This robust, new state of the art cattle shed was constructed for a farm in Dorking, Surrey. Spanning 100 feet by 50 feet, it features 20-foot bays and 10-foot cantilevered overhangs. The galvanised steel box guttering system is especially designed for an agricultural building and provides good corrosion resistance.

The roof is made from a low maintenance, natural grey, fibre cement. This roofing material is ideal for livestock housing as it does not corrode. It also provides good noise insulation which means less disturbance for the cattle. A 200mm raised ridge along the entire length of the roof maintains the appearance of the roof and helps to eliminate condensation falling.

Every aspect of the shed has been finished to the highest standard. Our technical expertise and attention to detail is vital in the design and construction of a shed like this as it will ensure safe and efficient operation while also maximising livestock comfort. The result? Happier, healthier, more productive animals.
